NASA Internship
Work compiled from my time as a Summer 2024 Digital Communications Intern at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia.

01
Atmospheric Characterization Animation
Using Autodesk Maya I modeled, textured, and rendered (via Arnold) NASA's TEMPO satellite, to showcase one of Langley Research Center's key capabilities, Atmospheric Characterization.
02
Intelligent Flight Systems Animation
Using Autodesk Maya I modeled and rigged a modified Alta-8 drone, which I then animated and rendered in an urban and rural environment (using Arnold).

03
National Intern Week Video
In honor of National Intern Week, I worked with two fellow communications interns to write a script, interview candidates, and secure locations for this video. I also filmed all the footage using an iPhone, which was then edited using Adobe After Effects. We were able to gain approval to allow the video to posted as a collaboration with @nasainternships, and it has now amassed over 50,000 views.
04
National Aviation Day Pilot Pete Pun Video
In honor of National Aviation Day, I supported the development of this social media video by preparing personnel vetting, developing a script, and recording footage at the Virginia Air and Space Center. The post gained approval to be posted as a collaboration with @nasaaero, and has amassed over 25,000 views.

05
Spacey Casey GIFs
I created 11 GIFs to be used on social media. I recorded the footage using a Canon 70D, from which I then color-corrected and isolated the beloved mascot using Adobe After Effects. Here are some of my favorites!

06
Marquees Animation
Using a premade logo, compiled in Adobe Illustrator, I created a motion graphic logo animation to be displayed on digital marquees around the center.

07
2D & 3D Design
I designed various graphics, including posters, logos, stickers, and web banners, using Adobe Illustrator. In terms of 3D design, I was tasked by the engagement team to prepare and print various models using PrusaSlicer.
